Calamari Cookbook

First of the Joze cookbooks and now almost sixteen years old. The Calamari Festival fired the imagination of the artistic community of Santa Cruz, with art shows, cabarets and street theatre. But the star of the show was always the many tentacled, multi-tastiful cephalopod tromping over our tastebuds.

Shown is the original cover. The current publisher, Ten Speed Press opted for a more tasteful, though less tasty, approach to a subject that ratchets up the squeam factor for many. Ten Speed also replaced the comb spine which opens flat with the more normal "perfect" binding. Lotsa good international calamari recipes with the Joze twist (easy & intense).

Introductory section has pointers on turning out wonderful crowd-pleasing dishes with these or anyone's calamari recipes. Adapt non-calamari dishes to calamari treatments and vice versa as well.
